RRC#16 - Canada Fly Fishing & Rail Adventure

Experience the ultimate fly-fishing experience in North America on pristine rivers hidden in the heart of the Rocky Mountains as part of the Royal Fly-Fishing Adventure.

Cool, clear, waters teeming with cutthroat, brown, rainbow and bull trout, await you on this exclusive fishing adventure in the Rocky Mountain wilderness. You'll test your wits and your finest flies as your guide points out the best locations to land a catch on the several rivers you will visit.

At the end of the day, relax in ultimate comfort and watch a golden sunset give way to the velvety darkness of the star speckled sky as you envision the promise of the next day's adventure.

Routing

01

Calgary
You will be chauffeured from the Calgary International Airport to the landmark Fairmont Palliser Hotel. You are invited to a private wine and cheese reception in the Pavilion. Afterwards, enjoy dinner in the Rimrock Dining Room. Overnight in Calgary.

Calgary - Lethbridge - Cowley
After breakfast, your fishing guide takes you to the Lower Bow River, southeast of Calgary, home to huge brown and rainbow trout. After a full day of fishing, board the train for a glorious meal prepared by our talented chefs. Overnight in Cowley.

Cowley - Crowsnest Pass
The adventure continues with fishing on the Old Man River, at the foot of the Porcupine Hills. Later in the afternoon, the train journeys to Crowsnest Pass for an overnight stop beside beautiful Summit Lake.

Crowsnest Pass
As you fish the rivers of Crowsnest, our guides introduce you to the wild rainbow, cutthroat and bull trout that thrive in this spectacular Rocky Mountain setting. Guests enjoy dinner onboard and we once again overnight at Crowsnest Pass.

Crowsnest Pass - Fernie - Golden
The morning begins with a short trip to Elk River. Guests disembark at Fernie to board drift boats for a guided float on the calm river waters. Return to the train and enjoy signature service as the train heads north through the Columbia River Valley. Guests overnight at Golden.

Golden - Yoho - Banff - Calgary
The train travels east into Yoho National Park, through the famous Spiral Tunnels and beautiful Banff National Park. After a leisurely brunch, we arrive at the Railway Pavilion in the early afternoon. A chauffeur returns you to the Calgary International Airport.
