Imagine the gentle bouquet of a nicely-scented chardonnay or a robust cabernet mingling with the exquisite aromas of meals prepared by our talented chefs in the luxurious comfort of your train car. On this epicurean adventure you can expect to enjoy delicate creations that will delight even the most discriminating palate.
As you travel through British Columbia's beautiful wine region to Vancouver you will enjoy fine dining, while learning about and tasting distinctive wines including the Mission Hill Estate gold medal winning chardonnay.
Your journey will begin with a reception and a live classical performance at the Railway Pavilion in the heart of Calgary, Alberta. Once onboard the train you will see live culinary demonstrations by our chefs and informative wine pairing sessions by a wine sommalier in the vintage carriages of the rail car. The Royal Culinary, Wine and Music Experience is the ultimate feast for the eyes, the body and the spirit in the heart of Canadian wine country.

Calgary
You will be chauffeured from the Calgary International Airport to the landmark Fairmont Palliser Hotel. You are invited to a private wine and cheese reception in the Railway Pavilion, featuring live classical music. Afterwards, enjoy dinner in the Rimrock Dining Room. Overnight in Calgary.

Calgary - Sicamous
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the Fairmont Gold lounge. Later that morning, board the Railroad for the first day of your journey. A gourmet lunch is served as the train ventures toward the heart of the Canadian Rockies en route to Vancouver. Experience the famous Spiral Tunnels and view the untouched wilderness of Yoho National Park. After lunch, the culinary team will offer the first cooking demonstration. As evening approaches, an extravagant dinner is served, with a selection of ports and ice wines from around the world. Overnight in Sicamous.

Okanagan Valley
Following breakfast, a motor coach transfers you to a selection of wineries in the Okanagan Valley, viewing beautiful lakes along the way. The adventure continues with a special off-train lunch. Guests return to the train in Kamloops for an overnight stop.

Okanagan Valley - Vancouver
Awake to a leisurely morning breakfast followed by more lively cooking demonstrations. In the late afternoon the train arrives at Coquitlam. Board a motorcoach for Vancouver Harbor, where your journey will continue by water. Catch a glimpse of the breathtaking scenery of Vancouver's coastline and harbor at sunset.

Vancouver - Revelstoke
A new dawn brings yet another informative culinary session, accompanied by spectacular views of the Fraser and Thompson river canyons. In the afternoon, guests may participate in an interactive cooking demonstration. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres are served in the early evening as the train heads east through Glacier National Park. Our culinary team again showcases its talents during dinner. Afterwards relax and enjoy a sampling of cognacs, sherries and scotches. The train overnights in Revelstoke.

Revelstoke - Calgary
Breakfast is served, followed by a seminar on the region's unique cuisine, as the train winds through the famous Spiral Tunnels. Crossing back into Alberta, we travel through Banff National Park, arriving at the Railway Pavilion by midafternoon. A chauffeur transfers you to the Calgary International Airport for your evening departure flight.
