Join our spectacular railway vacation from the Pacific Northwest to the Rocky Mountains. The scenic journey starts in the "Emerald City" Seattle, following a scenic cruise to Victoria. Explore the city highlights before boarding the train to Banff and Calgary.

| 01 |
Seattle Arrival
Arrive in Seattle. Individual transfer to your in hotel in prime downtown location. Spend the remaining day independently sightseeing in the “Emerald City” or join our escorted city tour. Highlights are the City Center, Sports Complex - homes of the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks, International District, Montlake Cut, Lakes Union and Washington, University of Washington, Fisherman’s Terminal, Fremont statues and Queen Anne Neighborhood. A short stop at the Hiram Chittenden Locks give us plenty of time to get up close and personal with Seattle. We’ll take in the sights that make Seattle special such as the floating bridges and funky public art. Save some film for the photo stop overlooking the city, skyline and bay. We’ll go where others cannot in this smaller coach limited to 20 passengers. Overnight in downtown Seattle.

Seattle to Victoria
Travel to Victoria this morning aboard the Victoria Clipper. On arrival, transfer to your downtown Victoria hotel. Overnight in Victoria.

Exploring Victoria
This morning you will enjoy a three-hour whale watching tour off the coast of Victoria on a 45-foot vessel. Afternoon at Leisure. Overnight in Victoria.

Victoria to Vancouver
Today a full day tour takes you to Vancouver. Among the highlights are a city tour of downtown Victoria, a visit to the world-renowned Butchart Gardens and a BC Ferries trip through the picturesque Gulf Islands. A visit to The Lookout atop Vancouver Harbour Centre with spectacular views of the city, mountains and ocean is included. Overnight in Vancouver.

Vancouver Sightseeing
Enjoy a day’s sightseeing of Vancouver’s downtown core and the spectacular North Shore. Among the highlights are Queen Elizabeth Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Robson Street, Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Overnight in Vancouver.

Vancouver to Kamloops
Boarding: 7:30 am, Arrival: 5:35 pm
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountain Railroad from Vancouver to Kamloops in the interior of British Columbia. En route you will pass through the fertile Fraser Valley and the scenic Fraser Canyon. One of the canyon's true highlights is Hell's Gate, where you will watch water torrent past the canyon's walls at its narrowest point. Upon leaving the Fraser Canyon, the train will follow the Thompson River to the city of Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops. Tonight you may join us to the Two River Junction Dinner & Musical Revue. B, L

Kamloops – Banff
Boarding: 6:30 am, Arrival: 7:00 pm
Continue your journey eastwards to the Canadian Rockies. First, you will travel through vast ranchlands to Shuswap Lake. Next, pass Craigellachie, where the “last spike” was driven completing the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885. Beyond Craigellachie is Rogers Pass with its tunnels, glistening glaciers, and snow capped-mountains. Before crossing over the Continental Divide into Banff National Park, the train will travel through the unique Spiral Tunnels in Yoho National Park, a remarkable engineering achievement. Upon arrival, a motorcoach will transfer you to your hotel in downtown Banff. B, L

Free day in Banff
Today you will have an entire day to spend exploring Banff National Park on your own. Some optional activities include soaking in the mineral pools at Upper Hot Springs, enjoying a nature walk on nearby mountain trails, visiting Banff’s historic museums, cruising on Lake Minnewanka or enjoying a round of golf at the Banff Springs. Overnight in Banff.

Banff – Calgary
This morning a sightseeing tour shows you the highlights of Banff townsite before an afternoon transfer to Calgary. Among the points of interest are visits to Banff Gondola, Bow Falls, the Cave and Basin Centre, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. In Calgary visit The Calgary Tower where you can view the city and the Rocky Mountains in the distance. Overnight in Calgary.
